Sotah 3:3, Question 5:

Identify one truism that you hold that is in danger of making a sweeping group generalization. Express the issue that is near and dear to you without resorting to stereotypes.

I"m not exactly sure if this is what the question is asking...but at my school many people are African American so people just assume that if you have dark skin you are African American, but I know this is not true and for the people that are other races such as Jamaican it can be offensive to be constantly labeled African even if it's not so.

  2. I looked up the word truism online, and it says that a truism is "a claim that is so obvious or self-evident as to be hardly worth mentioning." So I'm not sure what exactly you're asking for either. Actually, I suspect what it is that you're asking. (Essentially, some sort of very true claim that is bordering on racism or just some sort of generalization.... but I don't really know how to answer.)
